Picha Eats seeks to improve the lives of refugee mothers and their families in Malaysia by commercialising home-made meals to give them a self-sustainable income. Picha serves as an agent by purchasing home-made food from refugees, repackaging, reselling and arranging logistics to deliver the food to customers. 50% of the revenue goes to the chef and 50% goes to Picha Eats to cover operations. With the Expo Live grant funding, Picha Eats is adding an additional 20 refugee families and providing more professional training for chefs.
